The painting is inspired by the maritime atmosphere of a sailing regatta at sunset: the colors of the sunset, the sky, and the sails are reflected in the blue - colorful water, along with the waves, the wind chimes with the sails, the seagulls... The result is a vibrant work that can transport the viewer mentally to the sea.
The maritime diversity of colors, shapes, and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, delicacy, rhythms, and phenomena - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. I like to gather inspiration for paintings like these on beautiful walks by the beach: feeling the wind in my hair, smelling the sea, hearing the sound of the waves, seeing the movement of color in the water and the sky.
