About this sundown artwork
The sun will soon set on the pine-fringed lake: a moment in the evening by the lake to pause, marvel, observe the clouds in the sky, and perceive beautiful thoughts and feelings... For this atmospheric landscape painting, I mixed orange-red, yellow, white, black-brown, and blue tones on my palette.
During some beautiful walks in nature, I love to gather inspiration for pictures like Red Poppies L 1 and implement them as a dynamic, semi abstract painting. For me, it is less about reproducing what can be seen in the painting - rather, the feeling that is connected to what is seen is in the foreground.
