About this river landscape artwork
For this life-affirming landscape painting, I chose a summer motif. At the edge of the forest, sunlight falls on a flowery meadow that slopes down to a babbling brook. Light and shadow create interesting contrasts; the sunshine makes the flower petals glow, and the shades of green range from light leaf green in the sunshine to dark, rich green. The viewer's gaze is drawn to the colorful blooming flowers; the work invites you to enjoy the beauty of nature.
During some beautiful walks in nature, I love to gather inspiration for pictures like Beautiful Summer Day XL 1 and implement them as a dynamic, abstract painting.
