About this maritime painting
For this painting, I chose a semi abstract seascape bathed in sunset light, seemingly reflected in
a suggested horizon line. The high-contrast center is rendered in shades of red, yellow, white, black, lilac, and orange against
a blue background. A modern work that invites the viewer on a mental escape to the sea, far removed from everyday
life.
During some beautiful beach walks by the sea, I love collecting inspiration for pictures like
this.
